The union for the Immigration service is currently at loggerheads with the government over the retirement age being increased for public sector workers and the strike which they have planned will coincide with other civil sector workers across a number of other departments including the ministry of defence.

Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Hits Madrid 22 April 2012

The Madrid Marathon began back in 1978 and since then there have been more than 120 thousand runners complete the marathon. There are over a million spectators from all over the world come and line Madrid’s city streets to show their support making the atmosphere electric.

Sunday 22 April not only marks the Madrid Marathon but also the European Debut of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Madrid.
