About TenerifeTantalizing Tenerife with its bewitching sun, enchanting beaches, shimmering breezes is the biggest of Spain’s Canary Islands. A family holiday haven, where self catering accommodation is most common, in the form of apartments. Dining out is fairly cheap in Playa de Las Americas (Home of Spain’s highest mountain range, Mount Teide) from 20 euros a head. Clear crystal waters with white fine sandy beaches under an all year blue sky give a glimpse of paradise on earth. In contrast to the pure white sands of Playa La Caleta, El Bollullo and Playa de Las Galletas contain ebony black volcanic sand with adorned with pebbles and rocks from the nearby dormant volcano which last erupted in 1909. |
