Huzhou Guide
The Qianshanyang site, is a Neolithic site, and lies on the South East shire of the lake Qianshan, there is silk found here which is more than 4,700 years old.
To see some of the beautiful landmarks Huzhou has to offer visit the Wuling Bamboo Forest, which is a natural forest, within the bamboo forest is the Tian Xia Ying Ken also known as the Silver Diggings Under Heaven, which is a present day movie set. Close by is the Big Bamboo Sea also known as the Da Zhu Hai which is where the movie crouching tiger;hidden dragon was filmed.
Also visit the Huzhou Blanshan Mountain, the Huzhou Sheng Mountain,the Dragon King Mountain, also known as the Long Wang Shan, the Huzhou Anlan Bridge and the Lianhuazhuang Garden.
For some picturesque historical buildings, visit the Huzhou Nanxun Zhang Old House Building, the Huzhou Huanglong Palace, the Xiagu City Ancient Ruins and the Huzhou Nanxun Academia Historica.
If you are traveling with children there is a childrens playground within Huzhou, called the Huzhou Taihu Lake Paradise.
Or go to Bai Cao Yuan which is a garden, with manmade landscape, it has a mini zoo, childrens playground, restaurants and a swimming beach.

About HuzhouHuzhou is a city on the South of the lake Tai, in China. The lake Tai is the third largest freshwater lake in China, known as the city of silk for it's popular textile manufacturing.
There are various things to do while visiting Huzhou, for instance the historical buildings and landmarks such as, the Wanshou Temple of Hangzhou, this is the temple of longevity, built in 1577, it is an imperial dwelling inside is the Beijing art museum, preserving, studying and developing the Chinese cultural heritage. The museum exhibits Chinese calligraphy, paintings, imperial weavings, embroideries, porcelain, furniture, ancient coins and international arts and crafts.
The Hanshan tourist area is a mountain between the two cities of Huzhou and Jiaxing, it is a natural focal point for the Golden Triangle. |
