Cardiff GuideBeing a modern city the architecture is intriguing but more so is the warm
welcome feeling you get from the locals that you’ve never met before.
You can grab a nice cosy B+B in Cardiff City for around £25-30 a night and find it a very
pleasant experience but for a touch of luxury, why not try the Lincoln House Hotel or the five star Hilton Cardiff. These are the top hotels in the area offering
between them, free parking, a fitness suite and swimming pool at reasonable rates from £85.
You can eat anything in Cardiff from Michelin star restaurants serving food
on slate to local welsh treats at a small bakery tucked away on the high street. Italian, Indian, Chinese, French, traditional English, Welsh, Scottish, Irish, Thai
etc you are guaranteed to find somewhere but be prepared to pay for good food, this is a capital city after all. Top of the class is an Italian in Cardiff Bay called
the Bellinis which offers premium Italian food at premium prices, an alternative is Tea & Cake which surprisingly enough is a little coffee shop that sells hot drinks
and cakes.
An amazing city to explore you really will enjoy Cardiff and be entranced by the general buzz that surrounds it. It may be a good idea to plan an itinerary
though because with so much on offer and everyone wanting to do something different one holiday may not be enough! Go wild, talk Welsh and as always.
enjoy.

About CardiffCardiff, the capital city of Wales for over 55 years now, and boy how its’ grown. Although a compact city it is full to burst with life. Sports are an important
aspect of Cardiff with the awe-inspiring Millennium Stadium, the home ground of welsh rugby, and events such as The Ashes (cricket 2009) and the Ryder Cup (golf 2010).
If you follow a sport odds are Cardiff will have something down your street, and constant development keeps the city at the forefront of fashion, shopping and night
life as well. A city that has something for everyone to enjoy like this gets a large tourist population through Wales warmer months, from groups on a stag night,
families visiting Dalek’s (Doctor Who, Torchwood) or a world class Opera performance. |
