Walk along The Strip and visit the Excalibur, Luxor, and Mandalay Bay but leave plenty of time as the hotels are vast and you’ll want to stop and stare at the opulence and shop in the beautiful boutiques. A quirky must see are the toilets at Main Street Station Hotel and Casino where the men’s urinals are mounted on a piece of the Berlin Wall! Ladies, ask to see it if you wish. You can ride a gondola at The Venetian Hotel or walk through a transparent tunnel at the Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay and be surrounded by sharks. Deciding where to stay in Las Vegas is hard with so much choice but the 4* Caesars Palace on the Strip is an excellent option at the high end with a fabulous casino and top rate amenities.
For old school Vegas, The Golden Nugget on Fremont Street is full of history and you can still see the huge solid gold nugget displayed inside the casino. Las Vegas is an expensive city and a great budget option is the Super 8 Motel Koval within walking distance of the strip. It offers a large pool and comfortable rooms.
