A day trip to the Island Nature Reserve of Lobos is essential, as is the Sand Dune National Park to the south of the town. The beaches offer a wonderful opportunity for both wind surfing and kiting, while the town itself hosts a traditional Canarian Market each Sunday, with a range of souvenir shops for that holiday trinket or gift. There are a number of bars and restaurants and a wide variety of unrated, 2, 3 and 4 star hotel accommodations, with an average price per night of between £27 and £74, rising as high as £640 per night.
