Located on the northern end of the windiest Spanish Canary Island of Fuerteventura is the small beach resort of Corralejo. A day trip to the Island Nature Reserve of Lobos is essential, as is the Sand Dune National Park to the south of the town. The beaches offer a wonderful opportunity for both wind surfing and kiting, while the town itself hosts a traditional Canarian Market each Sunday, with a range of souvenir shops for that holiday trinket or gift.
