There is also a small Roman theatre nearby which is well worth a visit. While for those who would like to enjoy the sun, sea and sand, Alcudia has a 10km long stretch of golden beach which joins Playa de Muro, itself home to S'Albufera; a natural park that is very popular with bird-spotters. While further north and west there are more coves ideal for exploring and escaping to for a spot of sunbathing.
Alcúdia offers weekly markets in the town on Tuesdays and Sundays.
The resort also offers one of Europes largest hotel complex's, the 4 star Bellevue, which has eight swimming pools and seventeen apartment blocks. However for 3 star accomodation The Apartments Aucanada, are situated in the most peaceful setting just 30 metres from the beach on the bay of Alcudia.
