Also known as the sunset beach, the breathtaking view when the sun sets only perfects the visit in Betalbatim. Away from the beach, on offer is a tour to the spice plantation. Should one become interested in exploring Goa's countryside, or sightings of the wildlife, the tourist office in Colva is the place to plan and book, as the tours and attractions are arranged by the government. Betalbatim do get busier around the peak months of the dry season, from December to February.
The temperature during these months is an average of 30°C. Many visitors come during Christmas and New Year's holidays as Goa becomes even more lively. As this small village is not as commercialized as its neighbouring towns, visitors have a few, however varied, selections of accommodations from luxury hotels, simple apartments, to friendly guest houses.
