As to be expected with great beaches there are also plenty of water sports on offer including water skiing, boat rides paragliding and scuba diving to name but a few. A few of the best beaches and coves are the Apotripiti and the Sunset beach. A must to visit is the Canal D’Amour in the west which has striking natural rock formations. A local tradition holds that anyone who can swim all the way along the cove will meet the partner of their dreams at the end.

Aside from this romantic tradition the place is also known for its diving opportunities. If all this sounds far too strenuous the town also offers quiet restaurants offering local taverns with Greek, British, Indian and other international cuisines.
