Teenagers can be catered for at Kassiopi or Ipsos. Swimming is very pleasant on the pebbly beach.
You will find the food excellent at the local taverners and be able to sample local fresh fish dishes.
The resort is situated below the highest mountain peak on the island called Pantocrator and therefore has a spectacular backdrop to be appreciated with small winding roads leading up to it however they will not go all the way to the top and some walking is necessary.
This is especially nice in the Spring as there are many wild flowers. All around you will appreciate was is naturally Greece with tiny villages dotted around.
It is suitable for children as it is very clean and away from the road however the beach does shelve, but is quiet with a small parking area and interesting rock pools where the children can find small sea creatures and fish. You will not find sea urchins on the beach but it is a good idea to wear plastic shoes on the rocks.
Water sports are available from a jetty here.
There is a great gift shop situated in a very old house. There are supermarkets and the Aphrodite Nissaki will deliver larger orders. Take care while driving as roads are narrow and there are some significant bends.
