In the old village the remains of the church bell-tower can be found and wildlife and hiking trails are everywhere so it’s a perfect destination for those that love nature. It also has some of the most stunning beaches and coves on the island which is why it has grown in popularity over recent years. Like many of the smaller resorts it is mainly quiet with very little to actually do other than relax and enjoy the glorious sunshine and par-take in some Greek cuisine. All things consider though if you opt to hire a car it is relatively easy to explore more of the island as it is only about 300 miles squared in total and the resoirt of Skala is within easy reach.
The accommodation here is excellent with a wide range to choose from starting with the likes of the three star Pacifae Golden Village and The Magnolia Resort up to the four star plus Utopia Resport and Spa which has tennis courts, children’s playground, Turkish steam baths, indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a spa and wellness centre.
