Follow the winding roads to the Troodos Mountains either on horseback or by hiring a vehicle. Take a boat trip and see the beaches and coves that are inaccessible by foot or stay on the beach at Latchi and choose an afternoon of water sports including scuba diving. There are monasteries at Ayios Neophtos and Chrysoroiatissa or the museum with its Byzantine treasures in Peristerona. Even tee off at the Tsada Golf Club, close by and has a fantastic outlook.
Food is traditional and fresh, eat fish and other seafood at the tavernas located on the waterfront and spend a wonderful evening relaxing after all that sightseeing. There are a few hotels in Latchi, the Souli Beach hotel has 3 stars and great reviews as does the Aphrodite Beach Hotel, also 3 star but the majority of accommodation appear to be Villas, some are rather expensive whilst others are good value for money. They nearly all near the sea and most have pools.
