It is part of a larger group of islands called Jardines del Rey, which means “King’s Gardens”.
There is an amazing coral reef located on its north coast that attracts divers from every corner of the world. While there is a night club and a few other activities, this is the place to go to relax and do close to nothing. It is the perfect break from the busy daily grind and a break from all the noise and stress of everyday life.
The international airport here is called Jardines del Rey Airport and it has helped facilitate tourists visits by being able to land directly on the island rather than the mainland. There are excellent taxi and bus services that can take you anywhere you need to get.
