Some of the facilities you will find here include tennis courts, rent a car/bike, water sports and musical evenings in the town. Dubrovnik and Cavtat are close to the village; in Cavtat there is the old town to visit which is fascinating and the cemetery which has some stunning structures. There is also the Racic Mausoleum and the Monastery of Our Lady of the Snow.
At Dubrovnik the main feature is the walls that run for over a mile around the city, there are turrets doted here and there as well.
The Rectors Palace is a beautiful Gothic –Renaissance building and now houses a museum. The St Saviour church is another must see and is situated to the widely visited Franciscan Monastery.
The Orphee Hotel is rated as three stars and is surrounded by woods and lovely gardens; it overlooks the bay of Zupa. The beaches are close by but due to the location of this hotel it is not recommended for those with mobility difficulties.
There is also the Villas Plat which is actually a group of about 5 buildings of apartment/hotel rooms. A lot of the accommodation here is private so some clever surfing is needed to hunt them down, try looking for holiday rentals in Plat to locate something suitable in the self catering medium.
