Aside from enjoying all kinds of water sports and day time fun on the beach, there is also a rich culture to be explored here. There are many sites to visit here like the Early-Byzantine Therms, Fortification Walls, Houses of the National Revival Period, and the many churches here that date back many centuries. Also not to be missed are the museums; Archaeological Museum and Ethnographic Museum to name a couple. There are other towns within the municipality of Nessebar to visit such as, Obzor, Sveti Vlas, and Ravda that also have a number of important buildings.
They are also especially lovely resorts within the area of Nessebar.
A must-try is some of the countries local dishes, as Bulgarian cuisine combines a great deal of flavorful ingredients, as well as, influences from neighboring countries like Turkey and Greece.
