Costa del Sol is in the south of Spain in the community of Andalusia. It is made up of coastal towns along the Mediterranean coastline and is in the province of Malaga. This area was a one stage made of a number of small fishing villages but during the 20th century it was transformed into a world renowned tourist attraction.

The weather climate of this region is perfect, and it was awarded the ‘best climate in Europe’ accolade in 2009. Sun can be expected throughout the year, and summer temperatures hardly ever fall below 30C. Winters are very mild with daily temperatures of 20C. The temperature of night time hours very rarely falls below 10C.

It is a great holiday destination for true sun lovers. The public transport of this area is of very high standard providing bus and train services frequently. Taxis are also widely available, along with the option of car hire; this option should be largely considered by those of you who are interested in site seeing around the many different areas of Andalusia. The main airport of the area is the well known Malaga Airport a major international airport, with constant flights arriving and departing daily.

The extremely well organised and catered for airport provides ease of travel along with a number of different options to provide accommodation. The airport is currently undergoing renovations with a large new terminal being built to enable the airport to cater at ease for the vast number of frequent flyers. The nightlife of the area is varied and there is something for everyone. Costa Del Sols nightlife and stunning scenery is a huge attraction for all types, including family holidays, singles, couples or group holidays.

There are a large number of late bars and night clubs, and there are also lots of family friendly bars and restaurants which have international and traditional food, drinks and entertainment. Accommodation varies from hotel, to guesthouse, privately rented apartments, or luxury villas. There is also the option of cheap hostel accommodation.
