Costa Brava is in the north-eastern region of Catalonia and is a coastal region of Spain. The Costa Brava is around 60 kilometres long with beautiful coastal sites and views. Along with fabulous beaches that are perfect for relaxation.

The usual climate of this area is pretty much perfect all year round; July and August see temperatures rise to around 29C. The coldest time of year would be the month of January with temperatures at an average high of 13C. The plus of these temperatures is that out door activities can be taken part in all year around. There are two airports that are considered the nearest ones to your destination they are namely Barcelona and Girona Airport.

Flights can be purchased very cheaply from a number of different airlines such as Ryanair and Easyjet to name a few. Booking in advance could save you a lot of money on flights the most convenient method of transport to get to your accommodation is to have a pre-booked car hire waiting for you when you land. Costa Brava is a key tourist destination with an important border region. The natural heritage of the area is its fertile land, beautiful beaches and mountain ranges.

The natural culture and traditions of the area shine through within the language and the people who live there. Costal towns of Costa Brava in 1998 signed a charter to pursue environmental protection and tourisms. The regions range of natural habitats and microclimates value was recognised. The Medes Islands with a range of fish and aquatic flora are in Spain’s first marine.

Amongst a number of attractions you will find in Costa Brave, there is the Port Aventura Park, La Siesta Dinner and Show, Montserrat from Costa Brava and the Barcelona Aquarium and Montjuich Fountains to name a few. The greens are reported to be of excellent standard with breathtaking views of coastline, mountains and amazing wildlife to cast your eyes on. Costa Brava is a holiday where you can relax, the nightlife if very relaxed with only a handful of late bars and clubs, the beaches in the area are small and intimate with elegant restaurants serving fresh fish throughout the day.
