Turkey is located between South-eastern Europe and South western Asia it has a population of around 70 million people which are made up of Turkish and Kurdish inhabitants. One of the great attractions of Turkey is the Turkish baths (Hamam). They are an extremely important part of Turkish life because of their emphasis placed upon cleanliness by Islam.

Turkish music is influenced by a number of different cultures including Asian folk, Persian classical and Greco-Roman music. Each region in Turkey has its own individual folk dance and elaborate costume. Turkey is one of only 7 countries in the world that can produce enough food to feed it entire population and still have enough left over to export.
