Tunisia is located in north central Africa between Algeria and Libya it has a huge Mediterranean coastline, and has Arabic as its primary language. Tunisian music is hugely influenced by Andalusian, Turkish and Arabic rhythms the classical music 'Malouf' is heard in old palaces and street cafés. The clothing in Tunisia varies from region to region, however, weaved and embroidered fabric are typical using materials such as brocade, silk, velvet and wool.

Tunisia has its own unique style of architecture and is famous for its wonderful gates and windows. Doors are generally painted blue and beige whilst the windows are predominantly blue. The currency of Tunisia is the Tunisian Dinar (TND).
