Thailand means 'Free Land' and is situated in South-east Asia; it is a diversely scenic country rich in ancient tradition, beautiful temples, and exciting urban living. The Thais greet each other by putting the palms of their hands together and bowing their heads, this shows respect and well-being. When being served food tradition states that there should be several dishes on the table, and each one is expected to be sampled.

Thailand’s music culture was originally influenced by India and China; however, nowadays the influence is modern western music. The currency of Thailand is The Baht.
