India is located in southern Asia, and its capital is New Delhi. India is a fascinating and beautiful country. The inhabitants represent different religions and faiths and each town has their own set of beliefs and traditions.

Fairs and festivals are held in India throughout the year, some are of a religious nature, and others can represent seasonal changes. Dance music and startling elaborate clothing are a enormous part of these celebrations along with individual cuisine, which uses a, variety of herbs and spices. Traditional clothing for women is the Sari which is along sheet of brightly coloured cloth draped over a simple blouse. The men wear long white sheets of cloth called Dhoti and over this they can wear shirts or t-shirts.
