Antigua and Barbuda are two islands in the Eastern Caribbean and the people here live by traditional Creole culture. Most Antiguans are of African heritage and descendants of slaves. Antigua and Barbuda has many carnival celebrations in which elaborate costumes and masks are worn.

The locals here have a passion for music which is found to be dominated by percussion instruments. Antigua and Barbuda has cuisine which is rich in Sea food, meat and crops. The islands National dish is Fungie and Pepperpot, which are made from cornmeal ducana or sweet potato dumpling, salt fish and lobster. The island also offers superb desserts.

The currency of Antigua and Barbuda is the East Caribbean Dollar (XCD).
